Henry Ford: A Contradictory Genius
Henry Ford was the first to develop and manufacture an automobile that many middle class Americans could afford. He also made many prominent contributions to industrialism and the modernization of the 20th century. Yet, this portrayal of Ford is convoluted and somewhat misleading. For example, Ford hired Jewish workers, but was an antisemite. This biography not only covers the ways in which Ford revolutionized manufacturing, but also examines how his personal beliefs played a role in his innovations.
